Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members. There are three categories of activities. All activities are identified as follows:
- Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member.
- Member events are events that are open only to H.O.G. members.
- Open events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national H.O.G. members, and other guests as desired.

Precipitation Points: Every year the chapter recognizes those members who have participated the most in chapter activities. Members earn points based on the rides, events, activities, etc. that they attend. At the end of the year the historian tallies up the points and the top ten receive special incentives. To be eligible, all you need do is to attend the activity and be sure to sign the sign-in sheet. To write legibly is important! The elected chapter officers are not eligible to receive awards. Points are awarded based on the following criteria:
